Goen Tshephu Ney, Punakha

One of the best moments of my life was during last winter i got a chance to visit Goen Tshephu Ney which is situated at a height of 2422 meters above sea level in Goenshari Gewog, Punakha Dzongkhag. As beneficial as visiting Nepal's Draphu Maratika, this mystical cave of longevity is known as the Third Maratika. One will be blessed as you enter the mystical cave by the Long Live Vase, 21 Tara's Mandala, Guru Rinpoche's Throne, Guru Rinpoche's Kitchen, and the self-embossed Guru Mantra "OM AH HUNG". Goen Tshephu Ney, also known as Bhutan's Draphu Maratika, is one of the most revered pilgrim locations among the many holy places in Bhutan that Guru Rinpoche sanctified. If we want to live a long life, one should go to the Ney. We as a teacher or elder to our students or younger ones one must impart them the knowldge on visiting sacred places and its benefits so that one will be able to lead a good life.
