Paro Thongdrol ( during Paro Tsechu)

Paro Thongdrol is a large applique thangka displayed to the public during the annual Paro festival (tsechu). A thongdrol, which means 'liberation on sight,' is revealed in order to confer blessings on those assembled. The Paro Thongdrol is brought out of Rinpung Dzong at approximately 3 am in a chibdrel (ceremonial procession) on the last day of the Paro festival, the 15th day of the second Bhutanese lunar month. The main image is of Guru Rinpoche, flanked by his two consorts Mandarava and Yeshe Tsogyal. The mere viewing of the unfurled thongdrel is said to cleanse the viewer of negative karma. As a teacher, ome must try to teach the valubale things to our students because he or she will be able to implement the exisiting knowledge in his or her future. Bhutan, a country well known for her rich culuture and moral values one must try to make the students proud of being the citizens of this country by relating or incorptaing all the ideas of history and all.
