According to the lineage texts on prayer wheels, prayer wheels are used to accumulate wisdom and merit (good karma) and to purify negativities (bad karma).Prayer wheels are actully made to be turned by hand, wind, water. When part of a temple, people will circle the building clockwise and turn the wheels as they walk. Similarly, wind prayer wheel gain the benefit of circumambulating .In schools, as a teacher while teaching the concepts of direction of wind or lets say concepts on friction one can relate this to students for more undertstanding.Not only that it is the responsibility of the teachers to instill positive dispositions or attitudes in students where we must teach them on spiritual path of life as well.
